I told Dolly since she made the decision not to make music anymore, it would be a good move to do a compilation of some of the stuff we wrote together. She didn't see any problem with it. A nice little comp is always a good opportunity to say some nice words and clean house. Every artist worth their salt has at least one collection of stuff they've released before. At least that's what I told her.

Dolly seemed to like the idea more and more as time went on, asking me to do the album artwork herself, and even going so far as to record new music for the project, since all good comps tend to have one or two new songs in them. I asked her to do the liner notes too, which she hesitated on a bit, but ultimately said yes to.

As Bandcamp Friday was coming closer, Dolly came to me looking a bit glum. She couldn't finish the two new songs in time for the comp. We had a long conversation that she wouldn't like me to disclose here, but long story short, a chapter in her life had closed and she seems to be at peace, no longer feeling the emotions she needed in order to make Pretty Dolly material.

"You don't have to finish the new songs, but there's still time," I said. "Do you think you may change your mind later?"

"I probably will," she replied. "But I don't wanna fill the world with any more of my music."

After I gave her an understanding nod and a smooch on the cheek, she walked peacefully back to her room.

I AM NOT CAPABLE OF LOVE (7, 11, 14, 17) was written mostly by Dolly, but 17 was Muni-Dolly and 14 was the Vaselines.

MUNIMÚN & PRETTY DOLLY (2, 4, 5, 13, 16) was split between Muni and Dolly, but 5 was H.Fox. Dolly wrote 2 and 4. Muni wrote 13. Both wrote 16.

All four non-album tracks were written by Dolly.
